Ordering & delivery essentials

The same information shown on our concrete product pages when you configure a pour.

Pricing & Delivery Fees (Under 4 m³)

All pricing is indicative, based on our preferred supplier rates. Pricing (including min load fees & surcharges) will vary if an alternate supplier is secured.

Delivery fee applies for less than 4 m³:

  • 0.6 m³ to 1.0 m³ — $154.00 inc
  • 1.1 m³ to 3.9 m³ — $121.00 inc
  • 4 m³ and above — no delivery fee
Distance Fee May Also Be Applicable

Distance fee may also be applicable to your order.

Distance fees are charged in accordance with supplier surcharges, for deliveries greater than 15 km or 20 km from the plant, depending on supplier.

What's Included in the Price
  • Delivery (within 15 km from the closest batch plant)
  • The agitator on site for 30 minutes
What's Not Included
  • Wait time, after the truck has been on site for 30 minutes — charged at up to $4.40 ex per min (depending on supplier)
  • Distance charge for deliveries greater than 15 km from the plant (POA)
  • Minimum cartage @ $121.00 inc to $154.00 inc for loads between 0.6 and 3.9 m³
  • Wastage disposal, returned concrete
  • Adjustments to the default mix (accelerators / retardants etc.)
Multi-Truck Orders & Minimum Volume

If you order more than 7 m³, your delivery will require more than one truckload. Our default spacing between delivering each load is 30 minutes. You may require more time if you are using barrows instead of a pump, are new to concreting or there are issues with access. If you need a different spacing between deliveries, let us know by writing a note in your cart.

Minimum order: 0.6 m³ in a single delivery, and 1 m³ for exposed blends.

Booking & Confirmation

Your order is not fully booked until you've heard from us confirming the details via phone call or text.

The day before your delivery, you will be contacted to check that you are good to go for the following day. You will also receive a confirmation email listing your delivery address, anticipated delivery time, quantity, mix and price payable.

On delivery day, we will contact you approximately 90 minutes ahead of your booking for final confirmation and payment. Your delivery will not be dispatched until this has occurred.

After Delivery & Extras

After your delivery has occurred, you will not hear back from us unless you have incurred any extras — such as truck waiting time (after the truck has been on site for 30 minutes), or returned concrete disposal charges. This generally takes 3–5 days. If any extras were incurred you will be contacted via text and charged accordingly.

Payment & Truck Bond

There is no payment required at the initial checkout/booking request. Once we receive your order, we will aim to achieve your requested delivery date/time and confirm via phone, text or email.

First-time customers are required to provide a truck bond. This will sit in the pending section of your banking until we can confirm that no extras (such as wait time or returned concrete) have been incurred.

Additional charges

Charges not included in the price of concrete. Rates may vary depending on the supplier selected for your delivery — a full quote will be provided upon request.

Fuel Levy

Fuel levy (subject to change based on fuel prices)

This charge has only been put into place recently due to the effects of the war on our fuel prices. This varies from supplier to supplier — it is an increment put onto each m³ of concrete purchased, e.g. $7.50 ex per m³ on top of your m³ rate.

Environmental / Production Charges

Environmental or production/transport charges range from $3 ex up to $4.90 ex. This is a surcharge attached to each m³ of concrete purchased from all suppliers.

Waiting Time

Waiting time charges are incurred after the truck has been on site for 30 minutes, at a rate between $3.50 ex and $4.20 ex per minute depending on the supplier.

Distance Charges

Concrete rates are based on a job being no greater than 15–20 km from the plant. Outside of this, suppliers apply an extra surcharge ranging from $2.70 ex × m³ × km to $3.20 ex × m³ × km.

Example: $3.20 × 5 m³ × 5 km = $80 ex

Returned Concrete

Returned concrete charges range from a flat rate of $270 ex (from one shovel full left over) up to $854 ex (from 1.1 m³). Some suppliers commence from $220 ex per m³ after 0.5 m³ is returned.

Minimum Load Delivery Fees (Under 4 m³)

Depending on the supplier, the min load fee ranges from $85–$110 ex per m³ under the 3–4 m³ minimum load fee structure. Our standard cartage rates are:

  • Deliveries of 0.6 m³ to 1.0 m³ @ $154.00 inc
  • Deliveries of 1.1 m³ to 3.9 m³ @ $121.00 inc
Same-Day Cancellation Fee

Cancellation fees apply when cancelling orders inside of 24–36 hours prior to the pour date. (The only exception is rain.)

  • Up to 25 m³ = $550 ex
  • 25 m³ – 100 m³ = $1,100 ex
  • 100 m³ and above = $2,200 ex
Accelerator & Retarder Charges
  • Low dose accelerator — $8 ex per m³
  • Medium dose accelerator — $11 ex per m³
  • High dose accelerator — $14 ex per m³
  • Low dose retarder — $8.80 ex per m³
  • Medium dose retarder — $11 ex per m³
  • High dose retarder — $14 ex per m³
Towing Charges

Each supplier offers kerbside delivery only. If the truck is directed off the road and gets stuck, bogged or damaged, the cost of retrieving the truck will be on you — starting anywhere from $1,500 ex.
